Preparation
To proceed with the setup in this article, we'll use the order restriction app "RuffRuff Order Limits." If you haven't installed it yet, please do so.

Setup Method
Step 1. Enable the embedded app
1. From "Select theme" on the app's top page, choose the Shopify theme you want to install the app on
2. Click "Access"
3. Enable this app on the left of the theme editor screen
4. Click "Save" in the top right of the screen
Step 2. Create a quantity rule
1. Click "Quantity Rules" in the app's left menu
2. From the product quantity rules page, click "Create Rule"
3. On the create product quantity rule page, enter the following
- Title... any text
- Minimum quantity... enter "3"
- Set increment... check the box and enter 3
- Scope... select "Variant"
- Target products... select the products or collections you want to restrict
- Minimum quantity alert message... enter any message
- Increment alert message... enter any message
- Product message... enter any message
* When setting an increment, the minimum quantity must be set to a value at or above the increment value.
4. Click "Save" in the top right of the screen
