PageFly is a Shopify page builder app that lets you intuitively create pages via drag and drop, no coding knowledge required. It is mainly used to create landing pages (LPs) and product pages.
PageFly's Basic Features
PageFly does more than just make it easy to build attractive pages. Here we introduce its many core features.
Marketing Features
PageFly comes with a variety of features that support marketing, such as countdown timers for sales and lists that display upsell and cross-sell products.
By using these, you can create landing pages and product pages with higher conversion rates.
SEO
Since web pages such as those on e-commerce sites are published on the internet, SEO (search engine optimization) is essential. SEO refers to measures that improve your evaluation by search engines like Google and Yahoo, aiming for higher rankings in search results.
Pages created with PageFly load quickly and also support settings that contribute to SEO, such as meta tags and image alt attributes, making it easier to achieve higher search rankings.
The blog article below introduces SEO measures you can implement on Shopify. Please use it as a reference.
Integration with Other Apps
PageFly integrates with over 170 Shopify apps, enhancing your pages. Apps you can integrate with range from reviews and email marketing to subscriptions.
By integrating with these apps, you can build pages with stronger appeal and better usability, which can be expected to increase conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
Multilingual Support
Shopify is a platform that originated in Canada. Because of this, many apps only offer an English-only admin interface.
However, PageFly's admin interface supports more than 10 languages. It naturally supports Japanese as well, making it an app that's easy to use even for those who aren't comfortable with English.
Import and Export of Created Pages
Pages created with PageFly can be imported and exported. This makes it convenient for creating backups, duplicating pages, or reusing them on other stores.
This feature is especially valuable for companies such as apparel brands that operate separate stores for each brand.
PageFly Pricing Plans
PageFly can be used for free, but paid plans are also available. There is no difference in features or support between the free and paid plans. The only difference is the number of slots (the number of pages or sections you can publish).
The differences between the three pricing plans are as follows.
| Plan Name | Free | Pay-as-you-go | Unlimited |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | Free | $18〜$69 | $99 |
| Number of Slots | 1 slot | 5-50 slots | Unlimited |

Benefits of Using PageFly
Here are the benefits of using PageFly.
High Level of Customization
Shopify is inherently highly customizable, but detailed customization normally requires coding skills.
With PageFly, however, you can perform pixel-level detailed customization without any coding skills. It also offers a variety of features such as displaying social media feeds, countdown timers, and graphs, further enhancing the customizability of your site.
No Restrictions on Landing Page Creation
An LP typically includes all the necessary information on a single page, which tends to make it a long, vertically-scrolling page. One important point to note here is that Shopify's page customization screen has a limit of 25 sections per page. (A section refers to a page component such as a text area, image slider, or FAQ.)
This restriction has caused some people to give up on creating LPs in Shopify.
By using PageFly, you can create LPs without being limited by the number of sections, allowing you to build a landing page that covers all the necessary information.
Extensive Template Library
PageFly provides 130 types of templates, including landing pages and collection pages. (As of October 2024) By simply swapping out images or changing the text based on a template, even beginners can create professional-looking pages in a short amount of time.
Comprehensive Help and Support
PageFly's help site supports Japanese and has pre-prepared answers to many of the questions users have. It also offers numerous setup guides and tutorial videos, allowing you to learn how to use the app.
It also provides 24/7, 365-day live chat support, ensuring a system that responds quickly to store owners' questions.
This thorough support system is one of the reasons PageFly is so well regarded.
Differences from Other Page Builder Apps
Shopify has many page builder apps besides PageFly.
Many of them do not support Japanese. Others lack a free plan, offer few templates, or have little written guidance on how to use them—overall, many leave something to be desired.
PageFly, on the other hand, supports Japanese, can be started for free, and offers a wide range of templates. It also has many published usage guides, so you're unlikely to get lost. And even if you do, the 24/7, 365-day live chat support is there to help.
PageFly is one of the best options for Japanese store operators who want to create landing pages.

PageFly will show a language setting confirmation. Selecting "Change Language now" switches the settings screen to Japanese.

If you want to change it later, you can change the language under "Preferences" > "User interface" > "Language."

To understand PageFly, we recommend viewing the dashboard and checking the first item under "Get started with PageFly," "Quick overview of PageFly."

Creating and Customizing Pages
Here's how to create a page.
Select Pages in the app screen. If you want to start from scratch, select "Create a blank page"; if you want to use a template, select "Create from a template." This time, we'll use a template.

Select the page type (purpose) from the following options.
- Regular
- Home
- Product
- Collection
- Blog post
- Password
Since we're building an LP this time, we selected Regular.
Select the editor to create your page. "Gen 2 Editor" is a more advanced editor that allows more flexible layout settings, but it's only available on the pay-as-you-go plan. Also, "Legacy Editor" offers a larger number of usable templates. This time, we'll select "Legacy Editor."

Select the template you want to use. Using the filters makes it easy to find a template that fits your purpose.

Once you select a template, you can check it in a preview. When you've decided on a template, click "Select."

This is the template customization screen. The operation screen is used in almost the same way as Shopify's customization screen. The layout of the template is already set, so you can create a page simply by swapping images and changing text.

If you want to add a section to your page, select the section item from the menu bar on the left. Select the section you want to add and drag and drop it onto the page.

Customize your page in this way. Once you've finished creating the page, click "Save" in the top right of the screen.
Publishing the Page
Check the page in preview before publishing.
Clicking the "Preview" button in the top right of the customization screen displays the page according to your online store's design.

Once you've confirmed there are no issues, return to the editing screen and click the "Publish" button shown in the top right.
Set the page title and URL.
After setting these, click "Publish" below the URL input field.

This will publish the page.
Points for Creating an Effective LP
Here are three points for creating an effective LP.
Design Tips to Attract Users
To create a design that attracts users, it's important to balance visual expression with usability. First, choose colors and fonts that match your brand image to maintain consistency.
Place a high-quality photo that conveys the product's appeal in the header image, followed by a concise headline and benefits below it. It's also important to include adequate whitespace between elements to improve readability.
Furthermore, making your key message or CTA (call-to-action) button stand out with an accent color helps grab users' attention and encourages action.
Finally, check the display on mobile, tablet, and PC, and adjust the layout to be optimized for each device.
Placement of CTAs to Improve Conversion Rate
The CTA (call-to-action) is a critical element for prompting user action.
First, place a first CTA button in the first view to increase the initial action rate of users. Placing a second CTA right after the product details, once users have scrolled through and checked the product information, encourages a purchase at the moment their interest has peaked.
For button design, use strong contrast with the background color and use specific, action-driving wording such as "Buy Now" or "Learn More."
A floating CTA fixed to the bottom of the screen is also effective for mobile users.
It's important to keep optimizing button color, size, and wording through A/B testing.
Improving User Experience by Leveraging Other Apps
To enhance the user experience, integrating with review display apps or related product display apps is effective.
For example, using a review display app to incorporate real customers' voices into your LP can improve trustworthiness. Using a related product display app lets you recommend products based on users' interests, increasing purchase opportunities.
You can also create mechanisms to stimulate purchase intent by incorporating dynamic content such as inventory status displays or countdown timers for sale periods.
Integrating with these apps can be easily achieved with PageFly.
