Pre-Order Badges Can Now Be Set Per Rule | RuffRuff 予約販売

Tsun Inc.

This article records the update released on November 27, 2025. As previously announced, the legacy pre-order badge was retired on October 5, 2026, after the migration period ended. For the current display method, see the product card badge help article (Japanese).

Where to set the badge within a pre-order rule

Thank you for always using "RuffRuff 予約販売."

We have added a feature that lets you set the "pre-order badge" text shown in the product listing individually for each pre-order rule.

Previously, only a single common badge could be shown across all pre-order products, but with this update you can now flexibly change the label to match the product or campaign.

Use cases

Example of changing the badge for each pre-order rule

You can use different badges to match the sales status of a product, such as:

  • Pre-order products: "Pre-Order"
  • Sale products: "Sale"
  • VIP member products: "VIP Only"
  • Made-to-order products: "Made to Order"

Feature details and specifications

Setting priority

The badge content is determined based on the following priority.

  1. Settings within the pre-order rule
  2. App-wide settings (settings within the Settings page)

* If the "badge text" within the rule is left blank, the app-wide setting will be displayed.

When multiple rules apply

If multiple pre-order rules apply to a single product, the settings of the rule with the higher "badge priority" value will take precedence.

* If "badge priority" is left blank, it is treated as "0."

Other specifications

Multi-language support: Badge text set for each rule also supports the translation feature, so you can use it with confidence for cross-border e-commerce.

Where to configure: This can be configured in the "Action (during pre-order)" section of the pre-order rule creation/edit screen.
