You can now automatically hide specific payment methods based on the total weight of items in the cart.

We've added the same weight conditions used in Shipping Rules to the "Specific orders" option in Payment Rules. You can now hide a specified payment method only when the total weight of items in the cart falls within a configured range.
For example, you can set up rules like "hide cash on delivery if the order fits within a Nekopos-sized package" — based on weight rather than order amount. Since order amount can be affected by sale prices or discounts while weight is not, this allows for more stable and consistent conditions when determining product groups.
Configurable Options
- Minimum weight / Maximum weight — Specify the range of total cart weight to which the rule applies (you can specify only one of the two).
- Weight unit — Choose from grams (g), kilograms (kg), ounces (oz), or pounds (lb).
- When product weight units differ — Choose whether to "convert and include in the calculation" or "exclude from the calculation" for products with different units.
How to Set Up
- Open the Payment Rule creation/edit screen
- Select the payment method you want to hide
- Select "Specific orders"
- In the "Weight" section, set the minimum weight, maximum weight, and weight unit
- Save
The total weight is calculated by summing the weight × quantity of each item in the cart.
